The bill has been denounced by critics who assert that its wording authorizes the permanent detention and torture (as defined by the Geneva Conventions) of anyone - including American citizens - based solely on the decision of the President.[10] One has described it as “the legalization of the José Padilla treatment” - referring to the American citizen who was declared an unlawful enemy combatant and then imprisoned for three years before finally being charged with a lesser crime than was originally alleged.[11] A legal brief filed on Padilla’s behalf alleges that during this time he was subjected to sensory deprivation, sleep deprivation, and enforced stress positions.[12]
Another unconstitutional act! The constitution declares ALL PEOPLE have God given rights and not just US citizens. If even a US citizen is declared an “enemy combatant” you lose the Bill of Rights. From the excerpt above, taken from the above link, you see that ONLY the president need declare your status AND with the Patriot Act we ARE NOW VERY close to a Fascist State.
Did you know that the Patriot Act as caught only a couple of terrorists but is used to prosecute US citizens for “normal” crimes. It was said this would never happen.
As more states choose “electronic” voting, the outcome can never be known for sure. But does it matter? The choices to vote for are still controlled by “the powers that be” that have pushed for a “One World Government” for over 100 years.
We the people still have significant power and need to use it FAST. Every elected official took an oath to uphold the constitution and these are clear violations of that sacred oath.
So now, 20 years later, the people that used to be referred to as “the nuts” and what crazy thing have they did lately (as in Wolfowitz, President of the World Bank) are in power. Bush hired about 20 of these Fascist, Leo Straussians, do what it takes to secure power nuts. Strauss’s teaching that “perpetual deception of the citizens by those in power is critical because they need to be led, and they need strong rulers to tell them what’s good for them.”

In 2004 Adam Curtis produced a three-part documentary for the BBC on the threat from organized terrorism called the Power of Nightmares. A professor and a couple of grad students have their way with one of Diebold’s electronic voting machines — most recently used in the Maryland primary — uploading malicious programs and developing a virus that can spread those programs between machines. Diebold cries foul. 
The Associated Press says one of its own has been held for five months by the U.S. military without a hearing or charges being filed. The Iraqi AP photographer — one of the 14,000 suspects in limbo in U.S. military prisons — is part of a team that won a Pulitzer for breaking news photos.
